Pet foods

We offer different brands of quality foods such as Royal Canin, pedigree and Drools for your dogs and cats. Recommendations differ on what diet is best for your pets depending on breed and age. Many commercial brands are formulated using insights gained from scientific nutritional studies and there is no reliable peer- reviewed evidence that domestic options are superior. Most pet food comes in either dry form, also known as kibble, or wet, canned form. If you have requirement for any specific type of food get in touch with us and we will ensure timely supply of you requirement.

Immunisation

Immunization, is the process by which an individual's immune system becomes fortified against an agent. To ensure good health, your dog or cat need be vaccinated as puppies and kittens and continue to get boosters throughout their lifetimes. Pet vaccinations will help prevent harmful viruses which can impact the animal's health. We recommend vaccination for rabies, distemper, parvovirus, bordatella and leptospirosis.

Vaccinating your pets prevents many hard-to- treat diseases. For example, if your pet contracts rabies, there is simply no cure. Distemper can cause irreversible brain damage and parvo is usually fatal.

deworming

Worms or parasites are one of the more common problems encountered in canine veterinary practice. Several different types of worms may be seen in dogs and puppies: roundworms, hookworms, tapeworms, whipworms, and coccidia. Your veterinarian can recommend an appropriate dewormer for your dog depending on the type of worms your pet has. Always consult with your veterinarian before giving you dog or puppy a wormer, even an over-the- counter.

SURGERY

Veterinary surgery is performed on animals by veterinarians, whereby the procedures fall into three broad categories: orthopedics (bones, joints, muscles), soft tissue surgery (skin, body cavities, cardiovascular system, GI/urogenital/respiratory tracts), and neurosurgery. Our surgical services include spay and neuter, skin and ears, tumor / cancer, gastrointestinal, oral and dental, kidney, bladder and urethra surgeries. Each patient is closely monitored during and after surgery and we strive to provide utmost quality care for a variety of routine and elective procedures.

nutritional care

The Nutrition Care Process is a systematic approach to providing high-quality nutrition care. We believe that proper nutrition is essential for a long and healthy life for your pet. Feeding the wrong amount of proteins, vitamins and nutrients can be harmful to your pet. Bring us your pet to know the nutritional requirements of your pet based on breed, age, body weight and health status of your pet.

Breeding management

Animal breeding is a branch of animal science that addresses the evaluation (using best linear unbiased prediction and other methods) of the genetic value (estimated breeding value, EBV) of livestock. Selecting for breeding animals with superior EBV in growth rate, egg, meat, milk, or wool production, or with other desirable traits has revolutionized livestock production throughout the world. The scientific theory of animal breeding incorporates population genetics, quantitative genetics, statistics, and recently molecular genomics and is based on the pioneering work.

Animal husbandry or animal agricultureis the management and care of farm animals by humans, in which genetic qualities and behavior, considered to be advantageous to humans, are further developed. The term can refer to the practice of selectively breeding and raising livestock to promote desirable traits in animals for utility, sport, pleasure, or research

medicated bath

Medicated baths can help ease many skin conditions in your pet. If he or she suffers from seborrhea (a noncontagious condition that can cause skin to become dry and flaky or oily and scaly), a medicated bath can help alleviate the itching. Pets with allergies, flea infestations, and other skin issues may also find relief with a medicated bath.We can recommend a bath after we’ve examined your pet and diagnosed the problem. Illnesses unrelated to the skin, such as thyroid disease, can also cause skin problems in pets.

Medicated baths are performed when a skin problem needs to be addressed. Some medications are formulated for flea and tick prevention, as well. Achieving the desired result from a medicated bath often requires precision techniques in addition to the right soap and medication. For instance, some medicated grooming products need to be massaged into the skin and left there for several minutes to adequately soothe irritation or combat infection. Performing this type of bath at home can be extremely challenging, especially if your pet is not in a cooperative mood!

Bathing your dog with a special medicated shampoo that kills fleas and/or ticks on contact can be an inexpensive (though labor-intensive) method of protecting your dog during flea season, or year round. You will need to repeat the process more often, about every two weeks, as the effective ingredients in these shampoos won’t last as long as a spot-on or oral medication.

Dentistry

Dental health is a very important part of your pet’s overall health, and dental problems can cause, or be caused by, other health problems. Your pet’s teeth and gums should be checked at least once a year by your veterinarian to check for early signs of a problem and to keep your pet’s mouth healthy. Veterinary dentistry includes the cleaning, adjustment, filing, extraction, or repair of your pets' teeth and all other aspects of oral health care. These procedures should be performed by a veterinarian under anesthesia.

Dental cleaning includes scaling (to remove dental plaque and tartar) and polishing, similar to the process used on your own teeth during your regular dental cleanings. Some pets become irritable when they have dental problems, and any changes in your pet’s behavior should prompt a visit to your veterinarian. Always be careful when evaluating your pet’s mouth, because a painful animal may bite.

diagnostics

Advanced diagnostic services are especially important in veterinary practice because your animal is not able to tell us where it hurts or how he or she feels. Veterinarians rely on various diagnostic procedures and lab tests to gain a complete picture of your pet’s health. The Veterinary Care knows that your beloved pet deserves exceptional care at all times. Incredible diagnostics are the best way to achieve complete care for pets. After all, diagnostics help us to determine your pet’s health condition so that we can administer proper treatment, efficiently and effectively.
